A FESTIVAL TO REMEMBER
Artist Don Thompson dedicated his life to creating an eclectic mix of folk art installed throughout a 3 acre wooded lot property. The property is nestled in the foothills of the Vancouver Island Coast Mountains near there artisan destination of Coombs, BC. Thompson’s son, Gary, and partner, Patricia, host an annual event over August's Civic Holiday long weekend, showcasing the art and featuring live music by converting the property into a unique festival ground.
This festival is celebrating its 7th year in 2023. Folk Art Farms Music Festival attracts a wide range of musicians, artists and lovers of all things folk art throughout Vancouver Island, the South Coast and beyond. We would love to see you there.
Music Artist Submissions will begin the vetting process in December 2022 for the summer 2023 live music festival. Please see the 2023 Artist Submissions page for guidelines and dates.
